Kittredge Building

Now listed on the U.S. Department of the Interior’s National Register of Historic Places, the Kittredge Building marked the epitome of modern commercial development when it was built in 1891. It is questionable which possess the more colorful history-the Kittredge Building of its founder, Charles Marble Kittredge, whose contributions to the state have also been remembered by a town named in his honor.
